Brandon Jones was awarded the 2011 Firefighter of the year.

Hopewell responded to a pedestrian hit by a motor vehicle on Highway 81 North at the intersection of Fox Trail.  The 50yr old female was seen earlier walking down 81 trying to wave down cars before being struck at the intersection. The accident is still under investigation by the SCHP.

Hopewell Fire Department responded to a MVA on Brown Rd near Ashley Downs subdivision.

The Hopewell Fire Department responded to a deadly traffic accident on interstate 85. The accident was near the 22MM north bound and involved two tractor trailers and two vehicles. CLICK LINK BELOW

Hopewell responded to a two car MVA on HWY 81 N at Sam McGee Rd. Two patients were transported by Medic 9-5.

Hopewell responded to a three car MVA at the intersection of Midway and Bowen Rd. Two people were transported to the ER by Medshore Ambulance Service.

Hopewell responded to a three car MVA at the intersection of Hwy 81 North and Concord Rd. One person was taken to the ER and the cause of the accident is still under investigation by the SCHP

Hopewell responded to a MVA at the intersection of Concord Rd  and Shackleburg Rd. The accident caused power outages in the Meadows subdivison and surronding areas. The second vehicle that left the scene was later located a short distance from the intersection.

Hopewell responded to a two car MVA at HWY 178 and Harris Bridge Rd. Both drivers had to be extricated from the vehicles before being transported to ER.
